The Band App will be utilized to communicate important info about delays, general announcements, and those expectedly unexpected hiccups. Private chats can be created for directors to communicate directly with event staff.
For today’s event, each group will be assigned two of our band students as your personal hosts. They will remain with your band from arrival, remaining with you throughout your performance, and return with you to the changing areas. Cougar Captains can be available to your group after the conclusion of your performance should any needs arise. Directors will be able to reach event staff via call/text or via the Band app at all times.
We have made every effort to keep teams close to their buses and trailers until their performance is complete at this years event. However, all trailers and buses must be moved to allow space for the next group.
Buses and trailers of bands who have concluded their performance will be asked to move to the area indicated by the green rectangle on the far left of the map.
Musicians will warm up in the designated areas only, to limit the interference of outside sound that may disrupt teams during performances.
A hospitality area will be provided inside the Louisa P. Chrisley Fitness Center. Access to this area will be limited to band directors, band staff, and bus drivers of competing bands only, and will require a wristband, provided at check-in, for entry.
